All information on the registration page is required – main team contact and contact information and player rosters. If the complete player roster is not known enter those that are known and revise later. The main contact person should fill out the required information and select, and remember, a user name and password for making any revisions to the team page information. Each team will have its own team page accessible only by the main contact person and the league administrators.
Teams from outside of districts 3 and 4 will be required to obtain the necessary approvals from club/league of registration and the district commissioner of the district where the team is registered. No independent teams will be accepted. All teams must be registered with a CYSA league of registration. A release form will be available by the end of April on this site for this purpose.
Clubs wishing to have any of their teams compete in the GSSL must be prepared to have adequate fields, sized appropriately for the age group, and referees for their home games.
Age groups are divided into divisions based on teams’ competitive capabilities at the discretion of this league’s administration. The gold division is limited to 6 or 8 teams, depending on age group. Teams not making the gold division would be placed in a silver or bronze division. All appeals for placement must be filed by the teams’ club administrator.
League play will commence on September 6 and conclude November 8. All teams must be prepared to play each Saturday and Sunday between those dates. Postponements do occur and make-up dates are determined by the league. See the GSSL rules for further clarification and notification policies.
